“Oh I am rude!”

May 4, 2008

This morning my younger brother and I drove to a Taiwanese Festival in Richardson. It was actually a maze trying to locate the correct area of the park. There were Taiwanese flags but no (directional) sign to find the specific spot. We noticed these parade of cars (with asian people in them) going in sporadic directions. I was exiting one parking lot en route to another when an elder Asian man asked me in Chinese “which part of the park are we supposed to be at?”. When suddenly a woman and soccer kid, ok so wait…SOCCER MOM incessantly honked while the elder man and I were trying to have a QUICK word, like here follow me! BUT NOOOOO..this mom could not bear 15 seconds of her life. Yeah, we were accidently blocking the entrance and exit to the parking lot but REALLY!!! People should learn to have some patience (just a slight bit). Who knows, maybe she was an ALL-STAR SOCCER MOM but not in my book. Let me add her words when I hurriedly asked the elder man to drive forward, “how rude of you!!!” The only words the came out of my mouth were, “Get a life!” That kind of person is what I define as the destitute people in America.
