Nearly 70,000 Chinese people are dead from the quake aftermath in Sichuan Province. More than 20,000 people are reported missing. People are being evacuated from their homes now that urgent news of emerging landslides. This boils down to families losing their homes. No, it is not our job to provide for them. However, it is a privilege to be living in this world. There comes a time (plenty of times) when time, $, or some type of resource is calling for us. A lot of orphanages are displaced due to the destruction of their facilities. There is a need to shelter and feed those children. Let us do our (small) part in an attempt to mitigate the situation and most importantly, turn a frown into a smile for those kids and families.
